This module contains an MLX92212 hall effect switch which switches by means of a magnet. This version is a latching version and its output will go low when it detects the south pole of a magnet. It will remain low until it encounters the north pole of a magnet.

The module also contains an EFM32ZG108 Gecko low power microcontroller and two RS232 serial ports allowing it to be daisy chained in a network. Pre-Programmed for use in an openHAB Home Automation system or can be Re-Programmed for other uses.
